Next, we're excited to introduce our new Matching Rules. This feature enhances app detection by offering flexible, customizable rules for payment-application pairing. Now, you can tailor app detection to perfectly match your needs.
Last but certainly not least, we're rolling out our Automated Extension Deployment feature. This ensures that all employees have the extension automatically installed and running on their browsers. Less manual work, more automation β that's what we like to see!
-We've reworked the left menu to help you understand the value even more intuitively. Navigation just got a whole lot easier!
-Bulk actions have now been added to the employee listing, making management of large teams a snap.
-Corrected an error where successfully invited users remained in 'Invitation pending' status on the user settings page.
We're always working behind the scenes to make LicenceOne even better for you. As always, your feedback is crucial to us, so keep it coming! Until next time, happy app managing! ππ¨βπ»
Hello LicenceOne enthusiasts! We're back with more updates and improvements to streamline your application management experience. Ready to discover what's new? Letβs get to it! ππ
First up, we're excited to introduce our new Spend section. This powerful feature will equip you to better manage and monitor spend variations - whether that's by apps or by teams. Think of it as your personal financial advisor, keeping an eagle eye on where your money's going. π°π
In addition, we've added a neat little feature that allows you to ignore activity tracking at the application level. This gives you more control over what data is collected, helping to focus in on the activity that really matters to you.
That's it for now! We're continuously working to make LicenceOne the best it can be, and your feedback helps us do just that
Hello LicenceOne users! We're back with another round of updates, fixes, and features. Let's dive in ! ππ»
Starting on a high note, we're thrilled to announce that Xero has been re-enabled for everyone. So sync away and enjoy seamless financial management, integrated right into your LicenceOne environment!
Next, we're excited to launch action items on the dashboard. This feature allows you to take actions directly based on what you need to do with your account. It's like having a digital assistant nudging you towards what needs to be done. Efficient, isn't it? π§βπΌβ¨
For our SaaS editors, we've made sure transactions with their own SaaS name won't be automatically matched to their app anymore. This change will help streamline your transaction management and avoid any confusion.
As always, we're here to make your LicenceOne experience better with each update. Keep the feedback coming, and here's to making application management even more seamless! Until next time, happy managing! ππ
Hello again, LicenceOne users! We've got some fresh updates to share that we hope will make your application management process even more streamlined. Let's take a peek at what we've been cooking up in our tech kitchen! π²π»
First off, we're rolling out Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). This will give you an extra layer of control over what individual users can do within your LicenceOne environment. It's a bit like being a bouncer at the entrance of a club, only you're managing access to application management tasks, not a dance floor. πͺπ§
We also noticed a hiccup where some users were getting stuck on an empty offboarding step. We've fixed it, so you can proceed offboarding without any sudden pauses.
We never stop working to make LicenceOne better for you. As always, your feedback is gold β keep it coming, and let's continue to make LicenceOne the best it can be. Until next update, happy app managing! ππ
It's that time again! We've been busy as bees, refining LicenceOne to make your application management journey even smoother. Let's dive into the fresh updates we've rolled out! ππΌ
We're kicking off with the new and shiny listing bulk action feature. Managing multiple applications at once has never been so easy! It's like having an extra pair of hands to help you through your tasks. π
As always, we're here for your feedback, and we won't stop improving your experience with LicenceOne. Keep exploring, and we'll catch you on the next update! ππ
Another day, another set of enhancements and fixes rolled out to supercharge your LicenceOne experience! Letβs dive straight into what's new, shall we? ππ
Numero uno on the list, we'll now recover and analyze the last 3 months of professional application's browser history once you install the browser extension. Allowing you to cut the cost off unused application, day one of LicenceOne. It's like giving a time machine to our extension - only it goes backward, analysing past data to offer better future experiences. π°οΈπ
We've also tackled an issue which was slowing things down and sometimes resulting in a server timeout. We've given it a good tune-up, and it should be purring like a kitten now. π±π»
Speaking about things running smoothly, we noticed that some of our invited users were unable to use their password once they logged out. But worry no more, we've fixed this issue. Log out, log in, as you please, your password will be there for you!
A little something for our design-lovers: We've given our βThank you for subscribingβ page a refreshing new look. Worth subscribing to LicenceOne to see this π
As always, we're all ears for your feedback and suggestions. Keep them coming, and let's make LicenceOne an even more powerful tool for managing your applications. Until next time, surf on! πββοΈπ
Here comes a fresh batch of updates! As always, we've been passionately working behind the scenes to ensure LicenceOne is the smoothest and most intuitive application management tool for your needs. So, what are we serving up this round? π½π§
First off, we've buffed up our filter system on applications page. No more sifting through a pile of applications to find the one you need. This new system is designed to help you find what you're looking for in a snap! π΅οΈββοΈβ¨
We couldn't stop there, though. We've also extended this filter goodness to the renewals and employees sections. More power to your search capacities - wield it responsibly!
Oh, and you've probably noticed our slick new listing view design. We thought our old design needed a makeover, and we're loving the fresher, crispier look. Let us know what you think!
Moving on, we've addressed a bug where the sandbox environment didn't have any recent browser activity, causing all applications to appear as having active users. Just like that, it's fixed! π·ββοΈπ¨
If you've noticed some apps popping back up after deletion, we've rectified this glitch to make sure deleted apps stay deleted.
Now, you can put your feet up, relax, and enjoy a more seamless experience with LicenceOne. Until next time, happy application managing! ππ
Wave goodbye to @all messages in #general and farewell to mass emails prompting your team to activate the LicenceOne browser extension. We've made things a whole lot easier! You can now invite the entire team to install the suitable extension for their browser in just three clicks. Magic, right? π©β¨
Simply head to your browser extension settings, select the users you want to invite, then hit the βSend inviteβ button. Voila!
But wait, there's more in store.
We've thrown in a few extra perks in this update to make your browser extension deployment a breeze:
Exciting expansion news! We're all about making LicenceOne work for 100% of your applications, which means we need to cover 100% of the browser market. We're thrilled to let you know that our browser extension now supports Firefox! π
This is a big step in the right direction, boosting our market coverage to about 86% of the global desktop browser market.
Oh, and don't worry - Safari is on our radar! Stay tuned for more updates coming your way. π
You asked, and we listened! One of our most highly requested features is now live for all LicenceOne users.
You can now tag applications with multiple categories, custom labels, or really, anything that aligns with your business needs. To start tagging, simply navigate to the application of interest and click on the 'tags' section located on the left-hand side of your screen. Happy tagging!

Additionally, we've introduced a Newly detected application status. This will automatically be assigned to every new application that pops up in your workspace. Just use the filter in the application section to quickly see what's new and demands your attention.

Oh, and what's more, we've also optimized the onboarding process for users that install the LicenceOne browser extension for the first time.

With LicenceOne's Slack integration users will now receive alerts each time we detect a new paid application that doesn't have a manager assigned.
What's more, once a manager has been assigned to a new paid application, LicenceOne will also send them a DM in Slack requesting them to add extra information (like the renewal date, assigned team, billing cycle and so on).

Fixes & changes
Ever had a situation where untracking an application in LicenceOne just didn't hit the spot?
Then say goodbye to all that frustration - LicenceOne now allows you to permanently delete applications from all of your views.
What's more, we've also added the possibility for you to let us know why you're deleting an application so that we can constantly improve our detection accuracy!
With today's update, LicenceOne users can visualise automatically detected transactions and their associated spend calculations in multiple currencies.
For users that sometimes pay in dollars, then pounds, then euros: this one's for you.
Now your LicenceOne dashboard displays multiple currency lines with the correct calculations if we detect that your bank account or accounting software handles multi-currency transactions.
Now, transactions that are shown in an application's spend tab show the currency that were each paid in; rather than assuming that they're all the same currency π
You might've also noticed that we've added handy links to LicenceOne's help center and feedback board so that all of our users can find this at a glance.
If you like adding applications and spend manually, don't worry! We've got a feature coming soon to allow you to select from any legal currency (at least that we could find π) coming very soon.
You can take a peak at that feature here, with some top secret screenshots of what the feature will look like too π΅οΈ
With today's update, LicenceOne users can add banking data from institutions in 27 new countries, with improved coverage for our existing Germany and Spain coverage too - adding over 2 100 new banks to choose from! π€―
That means that on top of our existing banking integrations; users can now synchronise payment data from banks in the following countries:
Today we've launched a feature that allows all users to replace the LicenceOne logo on the top left of their menu to their own.
To do add your logo to your account, you will need your company logo to be:
Once that's all in place, head to Settings > Company information to get started.
For extra help getting setup with your customised interface, please consult our detailed FAQ article on "How do I add my company logo to LicenceOne?
A huge thanks goes out to everyone that's been waiting on this feature. We've had a huge shift in product philosophy over the past month; where previously we considered manual data entry to be the enemy we now consider it our friend π€
Users can now add spend data in one of two ways.
When manually adding applications to LicenceOne, we now have the following extra fields:
Cost per billing cycle
If your application has already been created in LicenceOne, head to the application page and click on the three dots indicating "More" on the top right of your interface:
From there, you should see a new popup that will allow you to change the application's spend; notably:
We've received feedback from multiple users mentioning that while they like that LicenceOne has a billing cycle field, this doesn't perfectly describe all the nuances between subscription-based applications, pay-as-you-go applications, or otherwise.
So we listened.
Now, on top of a billing cycle, users can assign the following financial models to their applications: Subscription
, Pay-as-you-go
, Marketplace
, and Lifetime deal
.
What's more, we've now removed lifetime deal from the billing cycle options. If users select lifetime deal as a financial model, the billing cycle will be set as one-time.
You can check out our feedback item for this below:
When signing up, some users skipped through our onboarding and unfortunately left the country field as the default value.
Normally that shouldn't be an issue, however, this is one of the ways that LicenceOne determines which currency symbol to display on financial amounts.
Now we've added a field under your company settings so that you can change your company country whenever you like π
Phew - launching on Appsumo keeps you busy! π But in-between support, product design, and technical specifications we've still been able to publish a first batch of your desired changes.
Simply head to the "Add an application" button at the top right of your applications page to get started
This is the first stage in a three-stage process for improving manually adding applications to LicenceOne. Very soon we'll be adding a couple of extra fields to the manual creation view and then will start implementing our most requested feature: manually adding application spend and costs.
Now we've changed things so that your browser language and region automatically determines what number format appears. For example, if you've setup your browser to American English, numbers will now look like $122.33
For those that want to track budget allocation per team - don't fret!
We're first going to work on allowing users to assign multiple teams to an application and calculate how that budget is divided (equally or by headcount for example) and once that's perfected; we'll move on to making a useful dashboard graphic to display that information.
To follow our progress on that, you can upvote or subscribe to our feedback entry below:
