Manually add spend to applications
Sometimes users don't want to add their bank accounts, or LicenceOne just simply doesn't integrate with their banking institution. For these users, it would be awesome if they could manually add their transaction lines or the cost of their applications to calculate how much they've spent on each app.

You asked, we answered: LicenceOne users can now manually add spend to applications.

A huge thanks goes out to everyone that's been waiting on this feature. We've had a huge shift in product philosophy over the past month; where previously we considered manual data entry to be the enemy we now consider it our friend 🤗

Users can now add spend data in one of two ways.

1. Manually add spend for a new app

When manually adding applications to LicenceOne, we now have the following extra fields:

  • First payment date (which is the date when we'll start calculating spend for this app)
  • Billing cycle
  • Cost per billing cycle

2. Manually edit spend for an existing app

If your application has already been created in LicenceOne, head to the application page and click on the three dots indicating "More" on the top right of your interface:

From there, you should see a new popup that will allow you to change the application's spend; notably:

  • Apply the following changes from -> From what date should we start to manually generate this updated spend data
  • Billing cycle
  • Cost per billing cycle
